Play without an account

Sign-in is optional and never gates the core game or progression.

Local by default

Progress, settings, and gameplay telemetry stay on your device.

Deletion is available

You can request deletion of an optional authentication account.

Don't Overflow is published by Kcode363. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the Android app.

Information handled by the app

Local game data

The app stores game progress, settings, discovered content, a minimal purchase-entitlement cache, ad-frequency timestamps, and bounded gameplay and diagnostic events on your device. Kcode363 does not operate a service that receives this local gameplay data. It leaves your device only if you choose to share it for support.

Optional account information

If you choose email-code or social sign-in, Supabase processes the information needed to authenticate you. Depending on the method, this can include your email address, provider and user identifiers, and basic profile metadata returned by the identity provider. Authentication tokens are held in app memory and are not written to the game save or gameplay telemetry.

Advertising and consent information

The app integrates Google Mobile Ads for interstitial advertising and Google's User Messaging Platform for privacy choices. Google may process IP address, approximate location derived from it, device or advertising identifiers, app interactions, and diagnostic information for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Where required, ads remain paused until the consent flow is resolved.

Purchases

The optional Chicken Wing Pack is processed by Google Play Billing. Google handles payment information. The app receives purchase and entitlement information needed to complete, acknowledge, restore, or revoke the one-time product. Purchase tokens, account identifiers, email addresses, prices, and ad revenue are not written to gameplay telemetry.

How information is used

  • Provide optional authentication.
  • Provide, restore, and verify the one-time purchase.
  • Show and control advertising and privacy choices.
  • Keep local progress and settings.
  • Protect the app and its services from abuse or fraud.

Service providers and sharing

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. Kcode363 does not sell personal information. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, the app, or legal rights.

Your choices

  • Play the core game without signing in.
  • Sign out to clear the app's in-memory identity for that session.
  • Use Privacy Choices when Google indicates they apply in your region.
  • Clear local game data through device settings or uninstall the app.

Retention

Local game data remains on your device until it is cleared or the app is uninstalled. Authentication-account data remains with Supabase until deletion or an applicable retention requirement. Google Play may retain purchase records for purchases, refunds, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.

Children's privacy

Don't Overflow is not directed to children under 13. Kcode363 does not knowingly ask children under 13 to create an account. If personal information was collected from a child in violation of applicable law, we will take steps to delete it.

Security and policy changes

Reasonable technical measures, including encrypted network connections, are used to protect information. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. This policy may be updated when the app, services, or legal requirements change; the effective date above identifies the latest version.

Optional accounts

Request account deletion

Send the request from the email address used for Don't Overflow sign-in. State that you want the authentication account deleted. We may ask you to verify ownership before deleting the Supabase identity and associated authentication data.

Your game progress is stored locally. Clear it separately from Android Settings or by uninstalling the app.
